5 ways to brand your logo on golf shirts

There are different ways of branding the logo on golf shirts, each with its own advantages and disadvantages, so choose the one that suits your brand.

1. Sublimation printing

The logo is transferred together with the pattern when it is printed.

  • No need to make a mould for the logo.
  • No additional costs.
  • No fading.

  • The logo is not obvious when there are many colors in the pattern.
  • Sublimation printing of the logo does not look as high class.

2. Woven labels

Woven labels are typically made up of cotton or polyester, with the threads woven together to create both your design and your label.

  • Soft
  • Durable

  • Easily deformed.
  • Details designs are limited.

Woven labels can be sewn on to the bottom of a garment or on the sleeve of a garment.

3. Silicone logos

More and more customers prefer to have silicone logos on their garments.

  • 3 D silicone logo makes the garment more high-class.
  • It feels more comfortable than an embroidered logo.

  • The mould cost will be higher, especially when there are many colors.
  • The logo tends to harden after prolonged exposure to the sun.
  • If iron the silicone logo on the garment, it may come off after multiple washes.(Stitched silicone patch is recommended)

4. Embroidery

Embroidery is one of the most common techniques used for golf polo logos. Different coloured logos can be embroidered on the embroidery machine using different coloured threads.

  • Long-lasting and durable.
  • Stand out with a unique design.

  • Expensive
  • The details of the pattern are too small to be embroidered.
  • If embroidered on a soft fabric, the logo will easily wrinkle around it.
  • During the embroidery process, the stitches will run directly through to the reverse of the fabric, which can be uncomfortable on the skin if the embroidered logo is large. To solve this issue, some fabric is usually carried on the reverse side of the embroidery to make it more comfortable.

Usually the logo is embroidered on the left chest, back collar, sleeves etc.

5. Heat press transfer logo

A heat transfer logo is a custom design that is transferred directly onto a piece of fabric.

  • Highly accurate patterns can be printed
  • More cost-efficient for small or customization orders

  • Do not last longer after multiple washes.
  • Not breathable when the press logo is big.

Logos can be on the left front chest, chest, sleeves, etc.
